The theme of the 2nd International Symposium on Hadith 2026 (2nd ISH 2026) is “The Dynamics of Hadith: Classic and Contemporary Approaches, Challenges, and Responses”. This theme seeks to explore contemporary approaches and responses to the Prophetic Hadith in ensuring that its teachings remain relevant, authentic, and properly understood in the modern world. The symposium provides an international academic platform for discussing emerging methodologies, current challenges, and innovative strategies in Hadith studies. Particular attention will be given to contemporary issues such as religious authority, extremism, methodologies of Hadith interpretation, digital transformation, and technological developments. These issues will be examined through the empowerment of Hadith scholarship and interdisciplinary engagement across various fields of knowledge.

The purpose of this international symposium is to strengthen and promote the culture of knowledge, particularly in the field of Hadith studies, among academics, researchers, students, policymakers, industry practitioners, and the wider community.
